Located just a few minutes between Branson and Branson West. The daily ride is 2+ miles long on a shady trail, single file – usually lasts around 2 hours. Breakfast rides are usually 50 minutes to an hour and when you arrive at “camp” there in the middle of the woods sausage gravy, biscuits, scrambled eggs, and hash browns along with orange juice and coffee will be prepared and delivered to you by a local restaurant. The ride back to camp after breakfast usually takes 20 minutes. During the dinner ride, the ride to “camp” usually takes an hour and dinner (catered to you by the restaurant of your choice) will be served there. This federally recognized building was built in 1891 as a jail and is the oldest existing structure owned by the City of Springfield. Fully restored it is now used as a police substation with a police museum on the first floor. Tours are offered daily, call for appointment.

Here you will tour the home of John Polk Campbell who was the nephew and namesake of the founder of the city of Springfield. The house was built in 1856 and has a detached log kitchen, log granary, two-crib barn, and a family cemetery. Guides are on site to lead you through the history of the farmstead and the interpret artifacts.
